My Food

This is probably silly, but I have been taking pictures of some of the food I've been making. I enjoy it, though. My 'big plan' is to go to the Culinary program NWACC offers after we're done having kid's and they're in school. I'll be the "old lady" in class, but it's what I want to do. Anyway,there is of my squash and zucchini plants. Holy cow! They're huge! I already have some veggies off of them, too. The BBQ chicken picture is the recipe I am working on for our Powell 4th of July throwdown. And the lasagna roll is something I am working on for our Powell New Year's throwdown. The roasted chicken was just for fun, as was the chocolate mousse, with home-made whipped cream.

Big Ride

We took a motorocycle ride with 11 bikes! That's the most bike's I have ridden with, it was a lot of fun. We rode about 140 miles, and I ofcourse turned into a crispy critter. Despite the sunblock. And, oddly enough, it's only on one section of my right shoulder. Weird. The pictures are all the bikes at this abandoned gas station we pulled over at so everyone could have a break. Unfortunately, somebody needed gas, so we had to stop 5 miles later at another gas station.

Tulsa Zoo Trip

We took Logan to the Tulsa Zoo Saturday. He had a really good time. He got to hear the lion roar, and he had a lot of fun in the petting zoo. He also go to ride the zoo train, which was painted his favorite color, orange.

Our 5th Anniversary

Here are a few photo's from our anniversary. We went to Eureka Springs, and on Saturday night we did the "Ghost Tour" of our hotel. So, naturally, we joke about how if they talk about our room, we're outta there. So, our room was in what they consider to be "the vortex" (now, the tour thing is seperate from the hotel, so they don't know who is on the tour, if they're guests of the hotel or not). So, we were outta there Saturday.
